Mom Works Counseling Group is a virtual private practice based in Montgomery County, Maryland that is expanding to onboard therapists who have a passion for the Mom Works mission.

This position is perfect for a therapist with a specialization or an interest in women’s mental health, perinatal mental health, and workplace wellness.

The role would work well for those looking to participate in private practice in a part-time capacity.

The foundation of this practice’s mission is providing specialized, boutique mental health services that create genuine positive change for clients in a way that also considers the clinician. We focus on clinician development, growing your clinical skills and teaching how to sustain your own practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Pre-licensed or independently licensed clinicians (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT)

• Licensed in Maryland, additional licensure in DC or VA accepted

• Caseload minimum of 5 clients per week

• Reliable remote work location (internet, camera access to conduct client meetings, private to maintain client confidentiality)

• Experience in women’s mental health, maternal mental health, and/or Employee Assistance (EAP)

• A dedication to inclusivity and capable of making genuine and meaningful client connections

Preferred:

• Prior experience in private practice

• Open to providing group therapy or workshops

• Certifications, specialties, or an identified niche

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct consultations to assess clinical fit

• Conduct initial assessment, provide a diagnosis as appropriate and draft a treatment plan

• Maintain compliance with progress notes and other documentation

• Abiding by code of ethics and code of conduct

• Other duties as mutually agreed
