Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within the 24 hour window of your session will incur a fee of $95. No show sessions will incur the full session fee.

Payment

Payments are due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and debit payments.


Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. All sessions are confidential in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Information will only be shared with your written consent or as required by law.

Communication Between Sessions

Non-urgent communication (such as scheduling questions) can be handled via email or our client portal. For urgent matters and crisis concerns, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

FAQs

How long are sessions?

Individual sessions are 45 minutes and couples sessions are 50 minutes, though brief or extended sessions may be available upon request.

Do you take insurance?

Our therapists are out-of-network providers. Many clients use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement, and we’re happy to provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance company. We recommend calling your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. We are a virtual practice offering telehealth sessions in Maryland to fit your schedule and comfort level.

I would prefer to not receive a mental health diagnosis, what are my options?

A mental health diagnosis is required by insurance providers for both in network and out of network reimbursement. If you would prefer to not be assigned a diagnosis, you can select the private pay option.
