Clinical Supervision for Social Workers
Nurturing growth, confidence, and authenticity in your professional journey- for Master’s Level Social Workers in Maryland.
Maxine Marshall
LCSW-C, RYT
Supervision is a relationship that supports your development as a clinician and person. My goal as a supervisor is to create a reflective, collaborative space where you can strengthen your clinical skills, explore your professional identity, and cultivate the confidence to practice in a way that feels aligned and sustainable.
As a licensed therapist specializing in perinatal mental health, ADHD, workplace wellness, and mind-body therapy, I help supervisees integrate clinical theory with intuitive practice. Together, we’ll deepen your understanding of the therapeutic process, strengthen your ability to hold complexity, and ensure your work feels both ethical and embodied.
Areas of Supervision Focus
Perinatal Mental Health - Understanding the emotional, social, and physiological complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, and loss
ADHD & Neurodiversity - Working with ADHD women and mothers, late-diagnosed adults, and the overlap of executive function, self-esteem, and identity
Workplace Wellness - Supporting organizations, leaders, and teams in positive communication, burnout prevention and recovery, and cultivating a functional work culture.
Somatic & Mind-Body Practice - Integrating nervous system awareness, embodiment, and holistic approaches into therapy
Professional Identity & Self-of-the-Therapist - Supporting your growth, boundaries, and authenticity as a clinician
Burnout Prevention & Sustainability - Building regulation, routine, and ease into your professional life
My Supervision Approach
My supervision style is relational, reflective, and strengths-based. I value curiosity over perfection and believe that every therapist develops their own unique rhythm and presence in the room.
We’ll explore your cases through a person-in-environment and mind-body lens, weaving together clinical skill-building with personal insight. Expect warmth, collaboration, and honest reflection- all within a supportive, trauma-informed framework.
